Rev. E. H. Cole 


THROCKMORTON -- Reverend E. H. Cole, age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 31,
2007 at the United Regional Healthcare System, 11th Street in Wichita Falls,
Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the
First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Monty Barnett officiating.
Burial will follow in the Throckmorton Cemetery under the care and direction of
Merriman - Archer Funeral Home of Throckmorton. The family will receive friends
and visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2007 at the funeral
home.

He was born to John Pickens and Ruth "Moore" Cole. He married Jennie Irvine on
January 22, 1949 in Canyon, Texas. He was a Methodist Preacher and had served
several Methodist Churches in the Northwest Texas Conference. He retired in 1985
and moved to Throckmorton from Albany that same year.

Survivors include: his wife, Jennie Cole of Throckmorton, Texas; one daughter,
Mary Huber and husband, Craig of Midland, Texas; two sons, John Cole and wife,
Edith of Graham, Texas and Earnest Cole and wife, Patty of Eastland, Texas; one
sister, Mary John Eidson of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Hoyt Cole of Anchorage,
Alaska; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, Texas and may be
left at the funeral home.
