BLACK CEMETERY TITUS COUNTY, TEXAS This cemetery was an early African-American family cemetery established by Perryman T. Black about 1859. Mr. Black and supposedly 39 others were buried there. It is located on the West side of 2152 about 10 miles North of Mt. Pleasant. The monuments, but no bodies were removed and taken to Green Hill Cemetery.
