BLUNDIS CEMETERY TITUS COUNTY, TEXAS This is a newly established African-American cemetery located in rural southwestern Titus County. It is quite large and should accommodate future growth. A chain link fence protects the grounds that are well maintained. The Blundis Creek Baptist Church is on the east side of the cemetery. In addition to those grave sites with monuments listed herein, there already exists depressions, rocks, a wooden cross between two Jeffery graves, another wooden cross, an unmarked but decorated area, and 12 unreadable Funeral Home Markers (FHM) that are obviously other grave sites. To reach the Blundis cemetery from the Titus County courthouse, take West 1st Street west for 0.5 miles to the intersection with Ferguson Road (US 271). Proceed straight through the intersection. The designation becomes FM 127. After 6 miles on FM 127, SW 27 (CR 2475) intersects on the left. Turn left (east) on SW 27 (CR2475) and proceed 0.3 miles. After passing Blundell Cemetery, the Blundis Cemetery lies about 100 yards further on the left.
