Since no monuments existed in the cemetery, no effort was expended to locate it exactly. Lynch Harper writes in his “Titus County Cemeteries” that: “This cemetery is located some 14.5 miles North of Mt. Pleasant on the E. C. Beasley Headright Survey” and is on the North side of a county road that use to be the road from Talco to Wilkerson. It is an old cemetery and was named Hargiss by some because members of the Hargiss family were buried there. No sign of any kind remains to indicate the grave locations.
