Since no monuments existed in the cemetery, no effort was expended to locate it exactly. Lynch Harper writes in his “Titus County Cemeteries” that: “This cemetery is located some 10 miles NW of Mt. Pleasant and is on the North side of a county road leading to a house that a Mr. Kersey lives in on the Jessie Harold Cowley Land. It has only some 10 or 12 graves in it according to Mr. Kersey, and no markers. Only sunken in places to indicate where graves are. It is an old cemetery and was named the Page cemetery because of members of the Page family were buried here. ....Buried in this cemetery, I am told are members of the Page family. (He was the father of J. Al Page. Also Mr. Black, the father of Marshall Black. Mr. Page is the grandfather of James Page, O. J. Page, William (Bill) Page is the grandfather Hurley Page. Mr. Page’s given name was Eli, Perhaps Elijah. This information is from a Mr. Kersey who lives near by. He also said Bert Hanks had a baby buried there, however, Bert say not.”
