All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************ Obituaries CLYDE "D" FARNHAM Clyde "D" Farnham, 75, of Athens, Texas, died in the Henderson County Memorial Hospital in Athens Monday after a short illness. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in the Texarkana Funeral Home with Robert Wilmoth and the Rev. Kenneth Farnham officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. He was born in McComb, Miss. on 15 Sep 1903, and had lived in Texarkana for 40 years before moving to Athens. He retired from Southwestern Electrical Power Company in 1968 after 45 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Trevelyn Farnham. They were married in Mount Pleasant, TX on 14 Oct 1927. He was a member of the Rose Hill Christian Church, Masonic Lodge #672 AF&AM, and Hella Temple of Dallas. Survivors include three sons, James A Farnham of Lake of the Pines, Texas. Jack D. Farnham of Texarkana and William David Farnham of Athens, Texas; a sister Mrs Ruby Bryant of Longview, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will be at the Jack Farnham residence, Farm Road 2516. Masonic Lodge #672 will have rites at the grave.
