Pleasant Claimed By Death - February 10, 1936 A second stroke of paralysis was thought to have caused the passing of J. T. (Gould) Henderson, 50, resident of Titus County, who was found dead in his bed at 6 o'clock Monday morning at the home of his parents, where he lived. He had been in declining health for several years and had suffered a previous stroke. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Mt. Pleasant Tuesday morning, with Rev. J. N. Vandiver, Baptist pastor, having charge. Burial was made at the Masonic cemetery. Mr. Henderson is survived by three brothers, Levy and Dr. Morris Henderson of Dallas, Clyde Henderson of South Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Etta Roper and Mrs. Zenie Hammer of Austin, Mrs. R. L. Delafield and Mrs. J. E. Witt of Mt. Pleasant. The deceased was a nephew of Mrs. Humphrey Henderson and Walter Henderson of Cason.
