Pleasant Times Review) - Dropped dead while plowing up sweet potatoes at his home in Monticello Wednesday morning. He and his brother were at work digging the potatoes and had been at work for some time, when the deceased remarked that his lungs were about to give out. His brother suggested that he quit work, but he said that as he lacked only a little of being done he would finish. In a moment his brother heard something like a groan, and looking around, saw Mr. Munn lying dead on the ground. He was buried a Monticello. He came to this county from Tennessee before the civil war and lived in the community where he died. He and his brother were both bachelors and resided together. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Oct. 22, 1909
