Ramsey Senn Dies at Rosewood: Services Sunday Funeral services for Sandy Samsey Senn 62, who died at his home in the Rosewood community Saturday at 10:35 A. M. were held from Frosewood Baptist Church at 4 P. M. Sunday. The Rev. Homer Petty and the Rev. Loy J. Ferguson officiated. Burial was in Rosewood Cemetery under direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Madie Jean Senn of Rosewood, a son, John L. Senn of Ft. Worth, and five adughter: Mrs. J. B. Hill, Jacksonville; Mrs. Hugh Langford, Mesquite: Mrs. Palmer McCool, Eureka, Calif; Mrs. Audine Shaw, Jacksonville and Miss Eva Senn, Rosewood; one brother Givens Senn of DeKalb. Also surviging are four sisters, Mrs. Lela Bell, Pittsburg; Mrs. Henry Messer, Pittsburg; Mrs. John Darden, Corpus Christi; and Mrs. Madison Witt of Arizona; and five grandchildren. Pall bearers were Jack Pilcher, Arthur Anderson, Gordon Irons, Buren Bullock, Earl Bullock, and Jeffie Hill. A quartet composed of Gilbert Carroll, Lewis Carroll, Kermit Carroll and Mrs. Cecil Harris, with Shirley Jo Johnson at the piano, rendered the music. They sang "Rock of Ages," "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be" and "Will the circle Be Unbroken?" Mr. Senn was born in Titus County on March 22, 1890 and was a resident of Upshur County 35 years. He was a member of the Baptist church since childhood, and also a member of the W. O. W. Lodge. Mr. Senn was a member of the original board of directors of the Upshur-Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, and had a part in the early peioneering of the huge enterprise.
