He was born Dec. 6, 1897, in Wichita Falls and had been a resident of San Angelo since 1975. He was retired from Texas Electric Co., was a Mason and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruth White of San Angelo. Mildred Neie Mildred Vick Neie, 62, of San Angelo died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at her residence. M.F. Raubfogel KERRVILLE - M.F. ``Raub'' Raubfogel, 82, died Oct. 12, 1996, in a Florida care center. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Arrangements are by Grimes Funeral Chapels. He was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Phoenixville, Pa., and had been a resident of Kerrville for 26 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he also served in the National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves. He was a pharmacist and had been assigned to Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston as an assistant director of civilian personnel. He also worked as a Realtor and was a member of the Kerrville Board of Realtors and served with the American Cancer Society. Survivors include a son, Frederick Martin Raubfogel of Tampa, Fla.; four daughters, Gretchen F. Porter of Denver, Paula Follweiler of Jensen Beach, Fla., Lisa Abraham of Tulsa, Okla., and Carla Smalley of Dallas; and 13 grandchildren. William Crawford SAN SABA - William Alton ``Bill'' Crawford, 67, of Richland Springs died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996, in a Temple hospital. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Wallace Creek Cemetery. He was born Feb. 4, 1929, in San Saba. He was a laborer and a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Ricky Crawford of Brownwood and Randy Crawford of Houston; four daughters, Willie Thrash of Baytown, Nina Yeathermon of Early, Sharon Meader of Brownwood and Sandy Graves of San Saba; three brothers, Homer Dan Crawford of Brownwood, Truman Crawford of Richland Springs and Dick Crawford of San Saba; five sisters, Emma Jean Alcorn of San Saba, Wyvonne McGee of Early, Mildred Hashaw of Burnet, and Virginia Byrd and Juanita Reigle, both of Brownwood; 21 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Rufus Hayes KERRVILLE - Rufus M. Hayes Sr., 90, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 1996, in a local care center. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements are by Overby Funeral Home. He was born July 3, 1906, in Swansboro, Ga., and had been a resident of Kerrville since 1995. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Rita Mae Hayes of Kerrville; a son, Rufus Malcolm Hayes Jr. of Kerrville; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and eight brothers and sisters. L.C. Finley SWEETWATER - L.C. Finley, 73, of Odessa died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996, at his residence. Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in McCoy Chapel of Memories with burial in Roscoe Cemetery. He was born July 24, 1923, in Bonham and had been a resident of Odessa since 1952. An Army veteran of World War II, he worked for Cactus Drilling Co. for 25 years and was a member of The Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Eva Marie Finley of Odessa; two daughters, Janice Marie David of Alvin and Linda Joyce Baker of Odessa; two sons, Jerry Wayne Finley of Andrews and Marshall Lynn Finley of Snyder; two brothers, Alvis Finley of Roscoe and Marvin ``Pat'' Finley of Levelland; four sisters, Ada McDonell of Roscoe, Opal Johnson of Sweetwater, Marie Wisdom of Texas City and Alla Mae Cole of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Gladys Mathis WINTERS - Gladys Mathis, 75, of Winters died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996, in an Abilene hospital. Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Winters Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lakeview Cemetery. She was born March 18, 1921, in Leon County. She worked for Dry Manufacturing for 25 years. Survivors include two sons, Eldon Eugene Mathis of Knoxville, Tenn., and Johnny Leon Mathis of Springfield, Mo.; a daughter, Shelia Paschal of Winters; three brothers, Norman Jones of Buffalo, Tom Ed Jones of Livingston and Leroy Jones of Eustace; a sister, Virgie Lindsay of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Eva Inman BALLINGER - Eva Mae Inman, 94, of Norton died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1996, in a local hospital. Service will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Rains-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Norton Cemetery. She was born Sept. 14, 1902, in Norton and was a lifetime resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Norton Methodist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Annie Cope of Bronte, Wilma Newsome of Tulia and Johnnie Turner of Norton; and several nieces and nephews. Roy Campbell BALLINGER - Roy Campbell, 59, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996, at his residence. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Miles Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rains-Seale Funeral Home. He was born April 6, 1937, in Ballinger. He was a Navy veteran and a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Lou Campbell of Ballinger; two sons, Craig Campbell of Carrollton and Dean Campbell of Framingham, Mass.; a daughter, Sherry Campbell of Carrollton; his mother, Florene Campbell of Ballinger; four brothers, Douglas Campbell of Sonora, Lloyd Campbell of Brooks, Ore., Jack Campbell of Hobbs, N.M., and J.E. Campbell of Midland; and two sisters, Jean McCampbell of Midland and Mildred Tabor of Miles.
