It's been so long since I've heard your voice, Or just to hear you make some noise. I needed to know you really cared, During the last moments, I was really scared. It's been so long since I've seen your face, Now I run the end of life's race. Many good memories I leave behind, Hope you bare those memories in mind. It's been so long since you've been gone, I guess it was for all the wrong. Please, forgive the things of yesterday. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- West Texas news and sports/August 17, 1998 Funerals and Death Notices TODAY SAN ANGELO - Maria Cortez, 80, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church; burial in Calvary Cemetery; arrangements by Johnson's Funeral Home.
