Service will be at 2 p.m Wednesday in Walker Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Coleman City Cemetery. She was born March l7, 1910, in Coleman and was a lifetime resident. She had worked for General Telephone Co. and was a member of the First Baptist Church. There are no known survivors. Nancy Taylor SONORA - Nancy A. Taylor, 89, of Fayetteville, Ga., and formerly of Sonora, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, in Fayetteville. Service will be at 2 p.m Wednesday in Kerbow Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sonora Cemetery. She was born May 1, 1910, in Asherton. She was a nurse and a Methodist. Survivors include one daughter, Blanche Lavon Babcock of Fayetteville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Lillie May Smith BRADY - Lillie May Smith, 81, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in Brady. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. She was born Feb. 14, 1918, in Kerrville. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Willie Joe Brazelton Sr. SWEETWATER - Willie Joe Brazelton Sr., 60, of Trent died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in an Abilene hospital. He was a farmer-rancher and a mechanic and a Baptist. Service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McCleery was born Aug. 15, 1911, in Hico to Marion and Abbie Belle Seale McElroy. She married Russell McCleery Sept. 2, 1933, in Duffau. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell McCleery; and a son, Billy W. McCleery. Survivors include a son, Roy McCleery and wife, Cindy, of Beeville; seven grandchildren, Billy McCleery and wife, Suzie, Judy Hinson and husband, Dwayne, James McCleery and wife, Rachel, Patti Haman and husband, Brad, all of San Angelo, Rindi McCleery, Jim McCleery and wife, Lizette, and Joey McCleery, all of Beeville; eight great-grandchildren, Les Lee McCleery, Misty, Kylie and Rusty Hinson, Kristin and Wesley Haman and Michael McCleery, all of San Angelo, and Christanna McCleery of Beeville; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Mary Nell Jourdon and Margaret Sellars. THOMAS LEE HOLLAND Thomas Lee Holland, 72, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at his residence. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. J.B. Bitner of the First Baptist Church of Big Lake officiating. Johnson's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Thomas was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Big Lake to Alton and Louise Springer Holland. They preceded him in death. He married Gisele Goble on Sept. 6, 1946, in Big Spring. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Army with the 24th Infantry Division during the occupation of Japan. He returned home in 1947 to attend the University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation in 1952, he returned to Big Lake where he and his father were owners of Big Lake Lumber Co. In 1987 upon retiring, he and his wife moved to San Angelo. Thomas was an avid sportsman. He loved watching high school football and trout fishing in Colorado. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Gisele Holland of the home; one son, Bren Holland and his wife, Sandy, of San Angelo; one daughter, Blain Mings and her husband, Jerry, of Austin; two loving grandchildren, grandson Brook Holland of San Angelo and granddaughter Paige Holland of Lubbock.
