Jimmie Harper BIG SPRING - Jimmie ``Jim'' C. Harper, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, in a local nursing home. A Navy veteran of World War II, he owned a trucking business and the Hilltop Nursery. She was born Oct. 29, 1904, in San Angelo. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolfo Juarez; and a son, Gabriel Juarez. Grandsons will be pallbearers. GEORGINA `RAY' PREIDECKER PFLUGERVILLE - Georgina ``Ray'' Preidecker, 57, of Austin passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000. Born in Rowena on Oct. 5, 1942, Ray was the daughter of George Louis Preidecker and Leona Matilda (Anderle) Preidecker. They preceded her in death, as did her sister, Francis Glynette (Preidecker) Lousignont. Ray moved to the Austin area 15 years ago from Evanston, Wyo., and was employed by Tellabs Inc. at the time of her death. She attended St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Ray will be remembered for her outgoing personality, sense of humor and her devotion to her family. She was an inspiration to all through her bravery and determination throughout her illness. ``We love you, Ray.'' The heartfelt thanks and appreciation of Ray's family is extended to Dr. Michael L. Kasper and Dr. Mark Felger, along with the nursing staff of Seton Medical Center. Ray is survived by her son, Oscar D. Keefer Jr. and wife, Virginia, of Pflugerville; her daughter, Darla Gardner Cicco and husband, Stephen, of Evanston; her loving soulmate, Clem Petru of Austin; her brother, Henry Louis Preidecker and her sister, Sharon Sue Preidecker Bendele, both of San Angelo; her grandchildren, Reyna, Gerard and Garrett Keefer, Merrissa Cicco and Justin and Mychael Aguilar. LOLA ANN LOONEY Lola Ann Looney, 93, of San Angelo died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, in a Llano hospital. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jerold McBride, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Lola was born Aug. 15, 1906, to Charlie and Elizabeth Epps in Medina, Texas. She taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church in Sterling City for a number of years and was a member of First Baptist Church in San Angelo. She was a retired nurse. Lola was married to Hubert Looney on Aug. 14, 1927, in Christoval. They celebrated their 69th anniversary before he fell ill and died on Feb. 29, 1996. A daughter, Sue McClain also preceded her in death on May 26, 1997. Lola will be buried between them. Survivors include her son, Adran Looney and wife, Coleen, of Kingsland; two grandsons, Mark Looney of Hawaii and Doug Looney of Kingsland; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Ollie Graham of Carlsbad, N.M.; and numerous nieces, nephews and many, many good friends.
