Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. He was born Feb. 17, 1918, in Haxtun, Colo., and had lived in San Angelo since 1984. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a civil service employee until retiring in in 1973. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Milton W. ``Skip'' Hill II of San Angelo and Frederick L. Hill of Grover City, Calif; twin sister, Mildred McConnell of Haxtun; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two stepgrandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. Victoria Salazar Victoria Carrasco Salazar, 75, of San Angelo died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, in a local hospital. Rosary will be at 2 p.m. today in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Terry Brenon officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. She was born Jan. 12, 1925, in San Angelo. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Natividad Rodriguez ALPINE - Natividad Losoya Rodriguez, 90, of Alpine died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in a Fort Stockton nursing home. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Church. Iola Stovall KINGSLAND - Iola M. Stovall, 98, of Kingsland died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, in a Llano hospital. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ralls Community Cemetery in Ralls. Arrangements are by Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 13, 1901, in Baylor County and had lived in Kingsland for 30 years. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Kingsland Community Church. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Westbrook of Kingsland; two grandchildren, Robert Westbrook of Victoria and Larry Westbrook of Mansfield; and six great-grandchildren. Mable Marsden JEFFERSONVILLE, Ga. - Mable Louise Marsden, 79, of Danville died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in a local nursing home. Private services will be Saturday. She was born April 17, 1909, in Coleman. She was a teacher and a Presbyterian. There are no survivors. Bernye Warren SAN SABA - Bernye Warren, 61, of San Saba County and formerly of Lubbock, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1938, in Oklahoma City and had been a resident of San Saba since 1991. She worked as a producer and a teacher. ORNELAS Adela C. Ornelas, 78, of San Angelo died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in a local hospital. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church officiated by Father Terry Brenon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery directed by Johnson's Funeral Home. Adela was born June 7, 1921, in San Angelo. She married Santiago Ornelas. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Adela was preceded in death by her husband, Santiago ``Cha Cho'' Ornelas, and her daughter, Adela ``Dell'' Ornelas. Survivors include her sons, Joe ``Bule'' Ornelas and his wife, Eva, and Jim Ornelas and his wife, Mercedes; six grandchildren, Cory Leyva, Jim Ornelas, Anna Sanchez, Kathy Castanuela, Joelda Ornelas and Sammy Ornelas; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nellie Tafoya, Dolores Arocha and Mercy Faz; two brothers, Lorenzo Castaneda and Manuel Castaneda; and numerous nieces and nephews. AGNES MAE SMITH Agnes Mae Smith of San Angelo passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in San Angelo Community Medical Center. Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m Saturday, Feb. 19, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Lakan Mariano of College Hills Baptist Church officiating. A sign language interpreter for those with profound hearing loss will be available at the services. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Agnes was born May 4, 1918, in Brady. Having been born deaf and unable to verbally communicate with the hearing world she attended and graduated from Texas School of the Deaf in Austin. She married Robert Leslie Smith Jr. June 12, 1943, in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1974. Mrs. Smith was retired from Model Laundry and Uniforms and was a member of College Hills Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milburn and Elva Pearson; and two brothers, Leslie Pearson and Edwin Pearson. Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie Hasenbank and husband, Jack, of San Angelo; two grandsons, Judson Hasenbank of Irving and Kevin Hasenbank of San Angelo; one great-grandson, Cole Hasenbank; and two sisters, June Lewallen of Brady and Faye Jordan of Houston. The family will receive visitors at 2228 Juanita Ave. SHERRY LYNN ROBERTSON ASHTON Sherry Ashton, 52, of Newark, Ark., and formerly of San Angelo, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in Arkansas. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Jack Hinson officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Sherry was born Nov. 8, 1947, in Ballinger, Texas. She was a longtime resident of San Angelo. She is survived by her husband, Bill Ashton of Newark; two sons, Rob Ashton of San Angelo and Brad Ashton and his wife, Crystal, of Arlington; two grandchildren, Tyler Ashton and Teryn Ashton, both of San Angelo; her mother, Juanita Miller of San Angelo; two brothers, Lanny Robertson and his wife, June, of Stafford, Va., and Steve Robertson and his wife, Cindy, of Bowling Green, Ky.; her father- and mother-in-law, Ira and Margie Langford of San Angelo; a sister-in-law, Patsy Hines and her husband, Gary; and three aunts and uncles and many cousins and friends that loved her.
