Brandy was killed in a two-car collision in Colorado Springs, Colo., where a lady ran a light, hit Brandy and sent her car into a spin where Brandy hit her head against a utility light pole and lost her life in an instant. God took his and our child in a humane way. Brandy was the daughter of Alvin Dale (A.D.) and Jan Lansdell of San Angelo. Brandy was the only granddaughter of Memaw Minnie Holster of San Angelo. Brandy also had an uncle James Arledge, aunt Renee Arledge, cousins Jeremy and Jordan Arledge of Grape Creek. She had a very special friend, Robin Wike, who was like a sister to Brandy. Even though Brandy had no children of her own, Robin and other special friends always shared theirs with her. Brandy had a special love she left behind named Tony Ross. She was the granddaughter of Hazel and Arthur Lansdell of Foreman, Ark. Arthur preceded her in death. Brandy was the niece of Terry and Wedia Lansdell of Foreman, Ark. and the niece of Raymond and Carolyn Thomas, who both preceded her in death. She was the niece of Debra and George Looke of Arkansas. She had cousins, Sandy and Rick Malone of Arlington, Rick and Tammy Thomas and their children of Sherman, Pam and Mike and their children of Irving. Brandy left behind many other relatives and friends who she had been close to in her short time here on earth. Brandy shared her life, love and beautiful smile with us all. Brandy attended Lake View High School and had previously worked for the San Angelo State School and had touched so many lives and hearts while employed there. She was a volunteer and helped her mother set up the arts and crafts department almost two years ago. Brandy continued to be a volunteer and kept in touch with several friends and individuals who still work and live there. She had some very special friends named Danny, George and Harold. Brandy had moved to Colorado Springs in September. Even though many friends and family tried to talk her into staying here, she told us that God was telling her to go there. She could not explain it, but she had to go and her friend, Marsha, was like an angel to guide her there. Brandy had gone to work for the Human Service Dept. for people with developmental disabilities with the Cheyenne Village Team. She loved her job and had become successful in a short time, earning her medical technician license. She was proud of herself as we all were. Brandy loved us all so much as we did her. She was amazed at how beautiful Colorado was. She told me God had done a wonderful job of putting it together. Brandy sent us post cards of the mountains because she wanted to share with us the beauty she was surrounded by. She told me, her dad and Memaw that she would be flying home to see us soon. She had never flown before. There will be a plane flying her home and it will be carrying some very precious cargo across the sky. Brandys last words to me, her mother, were, Mom, always remember that we love each other and that in my lifetime here I have seen the snow on top of the mountains. Brandy, we love you as you loved us, we will remember you always and keep you in our hearts and memories and will join you again someday. Love, Mom, Dad, Memaw and all your other loved ones and friends. Go in peace, God is with you. BRANDY JAN TORGERSEN Brandy Jan Torgersen, 25, of San Angelo went to be with God at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000. Brandy was killed in a two-car collision in Colorado Springs, Colo., where a lady ran a light, hit Brandys car and sent her car into a spin where Brandy hit her head against a utility light pole and lost her life in an instant. God took his and our child in a humane way. Brandy was the daughter of Alvin Dale (A.D.) and Jan Lansdell of San Angelo. Brandy was the only granddaughter of Memaw Minnie Holster of San Angelo. Brandy and her Memaw had a very special bond and loved each other so much. It was always as if Brandy had two mothers. Brandy was preceded in death by her Paw-paw, Jim Holster. Brandy had an aunt, Marylin Ibarra, an uncle, Manuel Ibarra, and a cousin, Chris Ibarra of Whitney, Texas. She had an aunt, Peggy Crowder, and an uncle, Ronnie Crowder, both of Whitney. Brandy also had an uncle, James Arledge, aunt, Renee Arledge, cousins, Jeremy and Jordan Arledge of Grape Creek. Brandy was the niece of Terry and Wedia Lansdell of Foreman, Ark., and the niece of Raymond and Carolyn Thomas, who both preceded her in death. She was the niece of Debra and George Looke of Arkansas. She had cousins, Sandy and Rick Malone of Arlington, Ricky and Tammy Thomas and their children of Sherman, Pam and Mike and their children of Irving. Brandy left behind many other relatives and friends whom she had been close to in her short time here on earth. She could not explain it but she had to go and her friend, Marsha, was like an angel to guide her there. Brandy had gone to work for the Human Service Dept. for people with developmental disabilities for the Cheyenne Village Team. Memorials may be sent to the San Angelo State School, Human Services-Cheyenne Division in Colorado Springs, Colo., or a favorite charity or organization. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For thou art with me; thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
