The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear, Because Im spending Christmas day with Jesus Christ this year. I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear, But the sounds of music cant compare with the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell the joy their beautiful voices bring, It is beyond description to hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see the pain in your heart, But its only for a little while that we will be apart. Ill ask Him to light your spirit as I tell Him of your love, So please pray for one another as you lift your eyes above. I cant tell you of the splendor or the peace here in this place. Can you just imagine Christmas with our Savior face to face? Please let your hearts be joyful and let your spirit sing Im spending Christmas in heaven, and Im walking with the King. He loved hunting, fishing and being with his family. His home was always open to family and friends. DAD My dad taught me how to love. He was always there, maybe not physically but always in the heart. He taught me how to fish, hunt, play dominoes and, in general, how to live. He stretched my mind by doing a lot of his own building and mechanic work. He answered all my questions when I was under his feet and in the way while he was doing this. He was always there when I was hurt. He was always there when I played in any sport. He was always there when I got into something I could not handle. He stood with me, not behind me when I made mistakes. He fought with me at times but was always there to love and back me. He demanded my respect, but let me grow on my own. He let people run down his ideas and beliefs, but didn't attack theirs. He fought for his country but didn't look down on those who did not. He was conservative, but would help you with your wild ideas. He gave more than he had, but never griped. Even when zonked out of his mind at the end and not wanting to lay down, he would if asked so that we kids could rest. That's how much he thought of others. He was the best role model a person could have. We all love you, Dad; we owe you for more than we can mention.
