The daughter of Abrahm and Virginia Roberts, she was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Indian Gap, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired Texas and New Mexico public school teacher. She thoroughly loved the 36 years she spent teaching first graders to read and took pride in being a member of Bata Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma, a sorority of meritorious educators. Mrs. Dooley was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Alfred R. Dooley in 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte D. Anderson and husband, Bruce, of San Antonio; a son, Dr. Alfred Dooley and wife, Dr. Linda Dooley; granddaughters, Susanna and Melinda Dooley, all of Austin; and granddaughter, Martha Minard and husband, Matthew, and great-granddaughter, Madeline Minard, all of Abilene, Texas; a sister, Erma Marwitz of Statesboro, Ga.; a brother Milford Roberts of Las Cruces, N.M.; brother-in-law, R. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Fairmount Cemetery with Nelson L. Erwin, C.L.P., associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Peg was born in San Angelo on Feb. 18, 1907. Peg was a lifelong resident of this city. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Holman, owned the Concho Drug Company, a chain of five area drug stores. Peg graduated from the University of Texas and attended Art School in New York City. She returned to San Angelo after the death of her father and assumed management of the drug company. She married J. Nalle Gregory in 1952. Peg was an avid bridge player and played bridge with her friends as often as possible. She was a longtime member of the Twentieth Century Club, a group of prominent area families. Peg was a member of the Wells Fargo Leading Ladies and enjoyed traveling with this group. She and her husband were lifetime supporters of the University of Texas and sustaining member of the Texas “Exes” Alumni Association. Peg was a long standing member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Flora H. “Toby” Schultz. Special recognition and thanks are due the doctors and individuals who provided care and comfort to Peg during the last years of her life. Thanks to her doctors, Brian Humphreys and Raj Cheruku and their staffs of the Shannon Clinic Association, also Dr. James Studt of the Regional Cancer Treatment Center. Thanks also go the caring and wonderful staff of the Saint Angelus Senior Living Center for their total devotion to her needs. Service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Morris Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Junction Cemetery. Liverman was a World War II veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement Award. He was a retired businessman and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Liverman was married to Marjorie Smith Carlile in Carlsbad, N.M., on June 14, 1950. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Junction; a daughter and son-in- law, Donna and Keith Simpson of Rochelle; a son and daughter-in-law, Rodger and Billie Carlile of Canyon Lake; six grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. Calvin V. Milburn, age 86, of Odessa passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, in Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. He was born Jan. 22, 1916, in Corsicana, Texas. He married Jeanne Cooper in Odessa on Oct. 21, 1950. She predeceased him in February 2001. He was a graduate of Texas A&M and received his law degree from the University of Texas. He served as County Attorney, Ector County, 1957-59; Judge, 7th Administrative Judicial District, 1972-76; Judge, 161st District Court, 1957-59; and 70th Judicial Court, Ector County, 1959-78 (retired). He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Odessa Chuck Wagon Gang, Chamber of Commerce and State Bar of Texas. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tom Meier of San Angelo; his grandson, Jeffrey M. Munoz, 82, formerly of San Angelo, passed away at 5:41 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, in Wichita Falls. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Rebecca was born on May 17, 1920, in Doole, Texas, to Melqiades Luna and Maria (Hernandez) Luna. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister, Ubaldo Luna, Fidel Luna, Domingo Luna and Hilaria Luna. On May 21, 1936, she married Catalino Munoz. They were married for 53 years. He preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 1989. She was a homemaker and a life member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and never turned anyone away. To some of her grandchildren she was more than a grandmother, she was a mother. She is survived by seven daughters and five sons, Carmen Espinoza of Boston, Mass., Rufinia Espinoza, Louis and wife, Dana, John and wife, Erminia, Lydia Gonzales, Mary Montalbo and Soila and husband, Albert, all of San Angelo, Cruzita Guerrero and husband, Francisco, Paul Munoz and Mario Munoz, all of Wichita Falls, Catalino Munoz and wife, Mary, of Arlington, and Rosalinda Diaz and husband, Robert, of San Antonio; one brother, Margarito Luna and wife, Shirley, of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Aurelia Garcia of San Angelo; one sister-in-law, Eunice Luna of San Angelo; 46 grandchildren; and many great- grandchildren. Hayden grew up in San Angelo, Texas, and was an Eagle Scout, honorary All American Swimmer, 1975 graduate of Texas Tech and finished his graduate work at the University of Texas at Austin. He was currently employed with Anadarko Marketing Group for more than 20 years. Hayden also attended Spring First Assembly of God Church in Spring, Texas. Gabbert, age 95, of Ballinger passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 25, 2002, in Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. He was born Nov. 18, 1906, in Holder, Texas, to Robert M. and Lizzie Wheat Gabbert. He married Thelma Scarbourgh in Ballinger, Texas, on Dec. 22, 1924. She preceded him in death on May 8, 2000. Clyde served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He owned and operated Gabbert Packing Company in Ballinger for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ballinger and was a member of the Ballinger Masonic Lodge No. 643 for 70 plus years. WEBB II GRAHAM Johnson’s Funeral Home Johns Webb Graham II entered heaven’s gates at 6:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002. He was a longtime resident of San Angelo and moved to Oklahoma City, Okla., in June of 2002. Webb was born Feb. 23, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Johns Webb and Genie K. Graham. They moved to San Angelo in 1949. Webb graduated from Central High School in 1961 and began his working career at Hemphill Wells. He then moved on to various other sales oriented work throughout Texas. He moved back to the San Angelo area in 1977 and married the love of his life, Debra Sue Delony, in December of that year. They lived in Mertzon for seven years producing hay, and fulfilled his love for animals by breeding Polypay Sheep. They moved back to San Angelo, where Webb returned to sales. He had a big heart and enjoyed making his customers happy. He was employed by Lifetouch Church Directories and took great pleasure in working with pastors and churches throughout the West Texas area for five years before transferring to Oklahoma. To carry on his love, smile and twinkle in his eye are beloved wife, Debra Sue Graham; son, Johns “Jonathan” Webb Graham III and special friend, Benita Villeda; daughter, Kathryn “Katie” Grace Graham; mother, Genie K. She will be surrounded by loved ones and friends, who will welcome her home. She was a restaurant owner and a well-known artist. One of her paintings, “What Color Are You, God,” was bought by President Lyndon B. Johnson’s attorney, and now is housed in the Smithsonian Institution. Her artwork was well-known in Menard, Mason, Junction and San Angelo. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she loved to work in all areas and events. She and her late husband, Eddie Barina, operated restaurants in San Angelo, Menard, Eden, Burnet and Dillie, and were known for their food and hospitality. She married Eddie Barina Nov. 15, 1938, in San Angelo and he preceded her in death. Jesus, thank you for such a wonderful, beautiful life, who loved with all of her heart. Burke July 16, 1943, in Altus, Okla. Mrs. Burke was a homemaker and a member of Ninth and Main Church of Christ. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three sons, Walter, Mac and Fred Burke; and a brother, Malcom “Mutt” McGinnis.
