I'm free Don't grieve for me, for now I am free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work, or play Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life has been full, I savored much, Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me God wanted me now, He set me free. JACK WAYNE KISER Johnson's Funeral Home Jack Wayne Kiser, 71, of San Angelo, passed away in San Angelo at his residence. A private family graveside service was Friday, Jan. 17, in Midway Cemetery. He was born Oct. 3, 1931, in San Angelo, the youngest in a family of ten children. He was Jack Wayne to family and friends. Though odds were not always in his favor, he graduated from Lake View High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston. The memories we most have of Jack Wayne Kiser are of a very motivating coach and teacher. He began teaching in 1962, and retired in 1988. We will never truly know the number of lives that were touched and changed during his 26-year career. He was not an overly emotional man, but proved his care and concern through his consistent teaching in having pride, self worth and insistence upon always doing your best and improving on the next round. He was able to instill the importance of humor in all life situations. There was never a dull moment at home or school, and he was never at a loss for words. If a speaker didn't show for the sports banquet "get Coach Kiser, he can do it" was the general consensus. Although he is no longer with us his legacy will carry on through the lives of those he touched. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Kelli Kiser and Michael Kiser, all of San Antonio; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Roger Neill of Big Lake, Kathy and David Sewell of Alvin, Karen and Tim Ender of Pittsburg, Texas, and Vicki and Matt Wagner of Corinth; one brother, Bill Kiser of Tyler; two sisters, Naomi Womble of Spokane, Wash., and Ruth Barrier of Fresno, Calif.; grandchildren, Ken and Christy Neill of San Antonio, Leslie Neill of Big Lake, Karly Kiser and Lindy Sewell, both of Alvin, Aylvia Ender, Mattily Ender and Ethan Ender, all of Pittsburg, Texas, Jonathan Kiser and Sara Kiser, both of San Antonio, and Alayna Lise Wagner who will arrive in February; and one great- grandchild, Kendra Neill of San Angelo.
