Bewick Rites Pending BIG LAKE - Services for C.S. Bewick, 73, are pending at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo. Mr. Bewick died Tuesday evening at his home in Big Lake and was found about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday by his son-in-law, Bill Wright of Big Lake. He was born on a farm on the Iowa County line Sept. 7, 1892, and came to Texas in 1911 with his parents. He was married to Edna Pearl Swank Sept. 1, 1912. She died Dec. 18, 1959. They had moved to Big Lake in 1925. Mr. Bewick worked for the Big Lake Oil Co. several years and established the Bewick Butane dealership, which he sold in 1945 and retired. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bill Wright of Big Lake; two sons, Carl Bewick and J.R. Bewick, both of Anaco, Venezuela; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Matthes of Prescott, Ariz. and Mrs. Dora Hanna of Loveland, Colo. ===================================================================== ========
