McBROOM Passed away on November 28, 2006, of natural causes in Panorama City. Born May 11, 1923 in San Angelo, Texas. Lloyd resided in southern California nearly his entire life. He was a graduate of Glendale High School in 1942 where he excelled in track and field and boxing. He served in the United States Navy in World War II and retired from the Skunkworks at Lockheed Aircraft after 40 years. Lifetime member in the American Legion, Post 817, Panorama City. Longtime member in L.E.R.C. where he enjoyed metal detecting. Lloyd was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria of 63 years. He is survived by his son, John; daughter, Peggy; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one on the way. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2006, 1:00 p.m., at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91606.
