Talley, and settled in Christoval, running a dairy farm. Purchased land in Grape Creek. He was the deacon of both the Baptism and the Methodist Churches. So the story goes, he wasn't that nice! Very heavy handed man. However, he did donate land for the Grape Creek Cemetery, along with the Bakers', Westbrooks' and Groffs'. For this reason, his Tillery descendants can be buried there for only the cost of opening/closing the grave.
