BROWN Furneral services for John W. Brown, 97, a retired rancher and farmer, will be held at Bee Caves Baptist Church Friday at 4 p.m. with the Rev. O. F. Dingler of- ficiating. He died in a local hos- pital Thursday. Survivors include three sons, W. E. Brown of Austin, William Brown of Bee Caves, Herman Brown of Carlsbad, N. M.; six daughters, Mrs. Allie Arnold of Johnson City, Mrs. O. S. Crumley of of Austin, Mrs. Eva Haydon of Leander, Mrs. Annie Carpenter of Manchaca, Mrs. Eliza Carpenter of of Manchaca and Mrs. Debbie Puryear of Dripping Springs; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Williamson of Austin; 34 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Leon Car- penter, Elmer Haydon, Raymond Brown, Johnnie Brown, Odus Crumley jr, Douglas Arnold, Charlie Brown and Emory Pur- year. The body will be at Hyltin-Manor Funeral Home until 2:30 p.m. Friday, at which time it will be taken to the church for services. Burial will be in the Bee Caves Baptist Church Cemetery.
