Hausman, Sr. [ Louis C. (Christian) Hausmann] Louis G. Hausman, Sr. 76, died in a local hospital Wednesday. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Forrest of Austin and Louis C., Jr. with the seabees in the Pacific; three daughters, Mrs. H.L. Honnold of Stockton,Calif., Mrs. Bert Lynn of Knoxville, Tenn. and Mrs. H.E. Huntemann, Fresno, Calif,: three brothers, John, Earnest, and Henry Hausman, all of Austin. Hausman’s parents moved to Austin with their family in 1883 and for some time occupied the original rock house that was later used as the university tea house. He has been associated with his son, Forrest, in paint contracting for many years. The body is at the Weed-Corley funeral home. Services will probably be held Friday afternoon with burial in Oakwood cemetery. The Austin American, Saturday, April 21, 1945 Louis C. Hausman, Sr. Funeral services for Louis C. Hausman, Sr. , 76, were conducted by the Rev. Chester Crow at the Weed-Corley funeral home Friday. Burial was in the Oakwood cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Hazley, Judge George S. Matthews, Judge J. D. Moore, J.F. Richardson, Lural Dement, J.W. Garland, and Oscar Ulit. Active pallbearers were J. A.. Luckey, Jake Hildinger, L. Berry Burnette, Sr., Tod Ford, Harry Bickler and Roy C. Archer Austin, Texas , Friday, April 4, 1969 Mrs. Bidie E. Hausmann Mrs. Bidie E. Hausmann, 82, of 4513 East Avenue, died Thursday in a local hospital. She had been resident of Austin and Travis County 60 years and was a member of the Christian church. Survivors include three stepdaughters, Mrs. Winnie Daneker, Modesto, Calif., Mrs. Katie Lynn, Seguin, and Mrs. Amy Huntemann, Veronia, Ore.; a stepson, Louis C. Hausman Jr., Austin; a brother, E. T. Mading, Dripping Springs; two nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Lee Hausman Kenley, Sulphur Springs, and Mrs. Verna Peterson, Austin and a nephew. Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Wilke-Clay Funeral home with the John Barclay officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery in Dripping Springs.
