Eugene Walls Reburial Service Friday in Austin Reburial services for Pfc. Eugene L. Walls, 38, of 4522 Maple will he held Friday in Austin. Walls served with the 36th (Texas) Infantry Division overseas. He was killed in action in Italy June 13, 1944. Walls was born in Cooper, Delta County(sic), and worked as engineer for an ice plant in Austin. He made Dallas his home after joining the army in 1940(sic). Private Walls is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Rigton (sic), Lockney, Floyd County and Mrs. James H. Lindley, Dallas, a son, Eugene L. Walls Jr., Dallas, two sisters, Mrs. John Haddock and Mrs. Florence Lewis, both of Austin; three brothers Hugh Walls, Merle(sic), Okla.; Gibbs Walls, Fort Worth and Mack Walls, Carlton, Hamilton County (sic) and three grandchildren.
