This is a photo of the resting place of William J. McAlister.  He was born 8-
28-1843 and died 1-11-1923.  The headstone rests next to that of his wife and 
several of their children in Egypt Cemetery. It is white marble. 

Additional Comments:
He was born in Alabama and died in Tyler Co., Texas. His parents were Samuel 
Burnett McAlister from Tennessee and Mary Lucy Hargrove from Alabama.
