Death Dissolves 71-Years Marital Union
Feb 1939

The death of Mrs. W. H. Moody, 92, occured Friday at the family home in
the Union Ridge community, Upshur county. Death was due to influenza.
Her death separates the longest married couple in East Texas, they having
celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary a few months ago.

A son J. H. Moore, and three grandsons, Hardy Moody, Otis Moody and
Eulon Strange, reside at Pittsburg.

Besides her four surviving sons, there are 16 grandchildren, 21
great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The funeral was conducted
by Rev. O. H. Zim-..............................................
