The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgenwebarchives.org *********************************************************************** Vol.33, Pages 607, 608: 4 October 1886: Deed Boundry; Thomas White to John Howell: The State of Texas ] County of Van Zandt ] Know all men by these presents that I, Thomas White of the County of Van Zandt, State of Texas in consideration of the Sum of One Dollar paid by John Howell and for the further consideration of forgetting & correcting the field notes of a fifteen acre block heretofore sold to Said Howell and for the further consideration of compromising and settling the Division line between the land belonging to me and the Said Howell have granted, bargained, sold and released and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and release unto the Said John Howell all that tract of land lying and being situated in the County of Van Zandt and State of Texas about One mile N 20 degrees E of the Town of Wills Point, the land hereby conveyed being taken off of the N.W. part of an 80 acre tract deeded to me the Said White by J.B. Nixon and being a part of the James Hamilton Survey No. 17 and described as follows. Beginning at a Stake set in N.W. line of Said J. Hamilton Section from which an Elm 4 in. dia. brs. W. 45 degrees E. 1 vs. Thence N. 45 degrees E. at 177 vrs a stake set at a point where Said Hamilton line intersects the South Line of a 1/3rd League Survey made for D Smith. Thence E. with Said Smith Line at 2-1/4th vrs a stake set on said line. Thence S. 425 vrs a stake for corner. Thence S. 45 degrees W. at 79 vrs a stake for corner. Thence N. 45 degrees W. at 490 vrs to the place of Beginning. Together with all and Singular the rights, member hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining to have and to hold all and singular, the said premises unto the Said John Howell his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind my heirs, executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the Said John Howell his heirs and assigns against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
