Casey, and M.M. & E.M. Rohus to John White: The State of Texas] County of Van Zandt ] Know all men by these Presents; That We, Margaret White, Evie M Rohus, joined by her husband M.M. Rohus and Susie A.V. Casey and Thos White husband of the Said Margaret White of the County of Van Zandt, State Texas, for and in consideration of the Sum of Five Hundred Dollars paid by John White as follow: Cash the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted, sold, and conveyed, and We do by these presents grant, sell and convey unto the said John White of the County of Van Zandt and State of Texas, all that Certain Lots, Tracts or parcels of land Described as follows: Situated in Van Zandt County, Texas, about one mile N.E. of the town of Wills Point, the same being a part of the James Hamilton Survey No. 17 of 640 acres and beginning at a stake set 565 varas W. and 34 vara S. of a point where the N.E. line of said Hamilton intersects the South Line of the Daniel Smith Survey, the same being L.H. White’s lower N.W. corner: Thence S. (in ?) E. line of Howell’s land at 266 vars a stake for corner: Thence N. 72-3/4ths degrees E. at 640-4/10ths vars a stake for corner: Thence N. 42-1/2 degrees E. at 158 vars. Said L. White’s S. corner: Thence, N. 64-3/4ths degrees W. with Said L. White’s line at 805 vars to the beginning; Containing 25 acres of land. Also another tract of Ten acres out of Block No. 17 One, subdivision of the James Hamilton Survey of 640 acres Situated in Said State and County, about two miles N.E. of the town of Wills Point, the Said ten acres being a part of a 40 acre block purchased by Jno White from C.R. Huger, and described as follows; Page 389: Beginning at a stake the South corner of L. H. White’s, 10 acre block; Thence, N. 45 degrees E. at 475 vars a stake for corner on N.E. Boundary Line of Said 40 acre tract. Thence, S. 45 degrees E. at 118-3/4 vars a stake for corner; Thence, S. 45 degrees W. at 475 vars a stake for corner; Thence, N. 45 degrees W. at 118-3/4 vars to the beginning, Containing 10 acres of land. Also, One tract of the same Survey bounded as follows; Beginning at a point 222 vars S. 45 degrees W of the East corner of and 80 Acre tract, Deeded to Thomas White by J.B. Nixon Thence, S. 45 degrees E at 475 varas a corner on N. W. line of Wilson’s tract; Thence S. 45 degrees W. at 120 vars a stake for corner; Thence, N. 45 degrees W. 475 vars a stake for corner; Thence, N. 45 degrees E. 180 vars to the beginning: To have and to hold the above described premises together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the Said John White his heirs and assigns forever and we do hereby bind Ourselves, Our heirs, executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the Said John White, his heirs and assigns, against every person whosoever, lawfully, claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
