Power of Attorney from John Karber to R.B Wiltshire (Atty. in fact)

County of Madison]
County of Van Zandt]
County of Kaufman]


Know all men by these presents, that I, John Karber of the state and
county aforesaid have this day and do by these presents make, constitute
and appoint  R.B. Wiltshire of the same state and county of Kaufman my
true and lawful attorney for  me and in my name and place and stead to
sell or otherwise dispose of as he may see proper a certain tract of
land lying, being situated in the counties of Kaufman and Van Zandt in
the state of Texas which land was patented to Peter Karber assignee of W.
N. McBee, hereby giving and granting unto my said attorney full power
and authority to do and perform all and every act necessary to be done
in and about the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as I
might or could do were I personally present, hereby ratifying and
confirming all that my said attorney may do or cause to be done in the
premises.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this the 4th
day of March A.D. 1881.

This day before me W. Z. Freeman a justice of the peace and notary
public exofficio for the state and county aforesaid personally appeared
John Karber a person to me well known who acknowledged that he executed
and signed the foregoing power of attorney for the purposes and
considerations therein set forth.  In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe
my
name and affix my notorial seal this the 7th day of April A.D. 1881.
