Deceased. To Thomas White Estate Sale; The State of Texas ] County of Van Zandt ] Know all men by these Presents that we John Spears & Mary his wife, Joshua Huff & Rhoda his wife, Jacob Childress, and John Spears Agent and Guardian for the Minor heirs of Childress deceased, all of us heirs of Said Childress deceased of the State and County aforesaid for and in considerations of the Sum of Fifty dollars to us in hand paid by Thomas White of the Same place the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath this day granted, bargained, sold and released and by these present do grant bargain, sell and release unto the Said Thomas White all that fifty acres land more or less it being apart of One Hundred and Sixty acres of land deeded to the Said Childress by Isaac Newton on the (--?--) day of (--?--) AD18(?) and being apart of the John Blair Survey for One League & Labor of land, situated in Van Zandt county on the waters of the Sabine River and described as follows, to wit: Beginning on the N B Line of Said Blair Survey 950 vrs East from that NW corner of the same. Thence South at 490 vrs Set a Stake on the South Bank of creek for 1st corner from which a Cedar 6 in. dia. brs N. 16 E. 10 varas and from which a Post Oak 10 in. dia. Brs. S. Page 117. 50 E. 40 varas dist. Both marked x. Thence South at 572 varas set a stake for 2nd corner from which a Post Oak 10 in. dia. Brs. N. 17 E. 105 varas dist. Marked x. Thence East at 850 varas set a Stake 3 vs corner from which a Post Oak 10 in. dia. brs South 30 W. 8vrs. dist. and from which a Post Oak 3 in. dia. brs N. 67 W. 1 ˝ vrs Set a Stake on the South bank of Said Creek for 4th Corner from which a Spanish Oak 6 in. dia. brs. N. 19 W. 2 vrs dist. And from which an Elm 14 in dia. N. 88 E. 10 varas dist. Both marked x. Thence up Said creek with its meanderings to the place of beginning. So as to include all of the 160 acres of land lying on the South side of said Creek it being the part of Said Tract of land hereby conveyed. To have and to hold all and singular the premises above mentioned unto the said Thomas White his heirs and assigns forever and we do hereby relinquish our right and claims all and singular the Said premises unto the said Thomas White his heirs and assigns forever.
