O. White: The State of Texas] County of Van Zandt:] Know all men by these presents; that I, Thomas White, of the County of Van Zandt, State of Texas, for the purpose of partitioning the Community estate of my deceased wife, S.A. White and self and in consideration of the interest which my Son, Jno. O. White has in said estate, have granted, bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant sell and convey unto the said Jno O. White, of the county of Van Zandt in the State of Texas, all that certain lot tract or parcel of land described as follows: lying and being and being situated in Van Zandt County, Texas, and about one mile N.E. of the town of Wills Point the same being a part of the James Hamilton survey No. 17 of 640 acres and beginning at the stake at 565 varas W. and 34 varas S. of a point where the N.E. line of said Hamilton intersects the S. line of the Danl. Smith Survey, the same being Lewis H. White’s lower N.W. corner; Thence South the East line of Howell’s land at 266 varas a stake for corner; Thence S. 72-3/4 E. at 640-4/10 varas, a stake for corner; Thence N. 42-1/2 E. at 158 varas, Lewis H. White’s S. corner; Thence N. 64-3/4 W. with said Lewis H. White’s S. W. line at 805 varas, to the place of beginning, containing 25 acres. Also another tract of ten acres out of Block No. (1) one subdivision of the James Hamilton Survey of 640 acres, situated in said State and County, about two miles N.E. of the town of Wills Point, the said ten acres being a part of a 40 acre block purchased by me from C.K. Huger, and described as follows: Beginning at a stake the South corner of Lewis H White’s 10 acre block; Thence N. 45 E. at 475 varas, a stake for corner on N.E. B.D.Y. of sd. 40 acre Block; Thence S. 45 E. at 118-3/4 varas a stake for corner; Thence S. 45 W. at 475 a stake for corner; Thence N. 45 W. at 118-3/4 varas, to the beginning containing ten acres. Together with all and singular, the rights members, hereditaments and appurtenances, to the same belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining. To Have and to hold, all and singular the said premises unto the said Jno. O. White his heirs and assigns forever. And I hereby bind myself my heirs, executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said Jno.O. White, heirs and assigns against every person whosoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. Witness my hand this sixth day of April AD 1895. Signed: Thomas (his x mark) White.
