Wiggs: 8.5 Acres The State of Texas] County of Van Zandt} Know all men by these presents: That I Martin White of the County of Van Zandt, State of Texas, in consideration of the sum of Fifty-five & 25/100 Dollars to me in hand paid by A. H. Wiggs as follows, to-wit: Cash in hand the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have Granted, Sold and Conveyed, and by these presents do Grant, Sell and Convey, unto the said A. H. Wiggs of the County of Van Zandt, State of Texas, all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land, a part of the James Hamilton survey, of 640 acres, situated in Van Zandt County, Texas, about two miles N. E. from the town of Wills Point. The said 10 acres being bounded thus: Beginning at the South corner of 10 acres of said survey sold by John White and Polly White, his wife to A. H. Wiggs on the 4th day of January 1904, Thence N. 45 degrees E. with the S.E. Boundary of said 10 acre tract at 475 varas to the East corner of the same; Thence S. 45 degrees E. 118 -3/4 varas, stake for corner; Thence S. 45 degrees W. at 475 varas, stake for corner; Thence N. 45 degrees W. 118-3/4 varas, to the place of beginning, containing 10 acres of land, except 1-1/2 acres out of the South corner of the same heretofore conveyed by Thomas White, deceased, to Mary Howard, the number of acres conveyed by this deed being 8.5. To have and to hold the above described premises, together with all and singular, the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said A. H. Wiggs, and his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, to Warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said A. H. Wiggs, and his heirs and assigns against every person whomesoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
