Mary Elizabeth Caldwell
	Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Caldwell, 82, of Houston, formerly of Grand
Saline, took place Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007 at 1st United Methodist Church with the
Rev. Rodger D. Garbs & the Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating.  Burial took place
after at Sand Flat Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
	Mrs. Caldwell passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at Houston.  She was born
July 9, 1924, in Van Zandt County to Earl "Bill" & Olivia Cade Davis.  Mrs.
Caldwell was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Grand Saline, a
member of Stanley Freidline Sunday School Class, a Life Member of Van Zandt
County Genealogical Society and retired from Southwestern Bell.
	She was preceded in death by her parents.
	Mrs. Caldwell is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tom & Kim Caldwell; a
daughter & son-in-law, Mary Jo & Wayne Hoover; six grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
	Pallbearers were Billy Caldwell, Bryan Caldwell, Mike Hoover, Keith Hoover,
Robbie Hoover, and Tamara Hoover.  Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Nations,
Bryce Nations and Jerry Lynn Ferguson.
	Memorials can be made to 1st United Methodist Church of Grand Saline.
