Ed Gilbert
	Funeral services for Mr. William Edward Gilbert, 79, of Grand Saline, were held
Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007 at Bartley Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Mark Winskie
officiating.  Interment followed in Woodside Cemetery.
	Mr. Gilbert passed away Feb. 16, 2007, in a Grand Saline nursing home.  He was
born June 22, 1927, in Grand Saline to the late Ovis & Ollie Swain Gilbert.  He
spent all of his life in Grand Saline where he was Methodist and worked in a
factory.
	Survivors include cousins, Gayle Carroll of Kilgore, Peggy Burks of Grand
Saline, Mike Carroll of Grand Saline, Ralph Smith of Palestine, Don Smith of
Laneville, Alan Smith of Palestine, Uncle Calvin Swain of Van, Aunt Jackie Rawls
of Hattisburg, Miss., and Aunt Iva Lee Leewright of Jacksonville, Fla.
