Robert Hoey
Memorial services for Mr. Robert Hoey, Grand Saline, took place on Monday, Jan.
29, 2007, at Bartley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Winskie officiating.
Mr. Hoey was born July 25, 1934 in Bogolusa, La., and passed away in Tyler,
Texas, on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sarah Rayburn Hoey; four daughters,
Dianne Bielski, Barbara Brownback, Lisa Walker and Tamara Purdie; and eight
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie Penton Hoey; sister,
Elaine Moss and his first daughter, Suzanne Elaine Hoey.
He was employed at Glen Oaks Hospital in Greenville, Texas.  He was a 32nd
degree Mason, a member of Houston's Holland Lodge, a Shriner of the Hella Temple
of Garland and the Scottish Rite.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Bob Hoey to Shriner's
Hospital for Children, Galveston, (409) 770-6600 and Texas Scottish Rite
Hospital for Children in Dallas, (214) 559-5000.
