Tommy Holmes
	Funeral services for Tommy Holmes, 79, of Edgewood, took place at Dalton & Sons
Funeral Chapel on Feb. 13, 2007.  Burial took place after at Old Hall Cemetery.
	Mr. Holmes passed away at a Grand Saline hospital on Feb. 7, 2007.  He was born
in Comanche, Texas, in 1928 to the late Fred and Edith Holmes.  Mr. Holmes lived
most of his life in Lewisville, until moving to Edgewood and Fruitvale, in 1999.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Brent Holmes; and two
brothers, Harold Gene Holmes and Bobby Holmes, all of Lubbock.
	Tommy is survived by his wife, Nita Holmes, of Fruitvale; son, Steve Holmes, of
Mineola; two brothers, Jimmy Holmes and Billy Holmes of Lubbock; three sisters,
Mrs. Anna More of Dallas, Mrs. Patsy Wood of Lubbock and Mrs. Betty Sue Brown of
Lubbock, and a granddaughter.
