L. Box and the Rev. Tom Pesnell officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery near Grand Saline. Mrs. Louton died Thursday in a Grand Saline hospital after a brief illness. She was born May 17, 1899, in the Sand Flat community in Van Zandt County, had lived most of her life in Van Zandt County, the communities of Silver Lake and Providence and the last 11 years in Grand Saline. She was a housewife and a member of Silver Lake Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Louton, who died Oct. 4, 1967, and a daughter, Thelma Lee Baggett, on April 11, 1981. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Amy Ruth Emmons, Dallas; three sisters, Myrtle Riggs, Mineola, Lora Hazel, Fruitvale, and Flora Cofer, Grand Saline; a sister in law, Mrs. Vera Ballard, Grand Saline; Two grandchildren, Gloria Morrow, Garland, and Tommy Emmons, Salado; two great-grandchildren, Zachary K. Emmons, Salado, and Teresa L. Franks, Plano; two great-great-grandchildren, R. J. Hester and Amy Michelle Franks, both of Plano, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers include Robert D. Dickerson, Billy R. Adkins, Dale Hammans, Hulan Hammans, Otho Nichols and David Nichols. *****************************************************************************
