McBRIDE, J. N. - (Wills Point Chronicle) - He had resided in the Morince
community until about two years ago. He fell from a building where he was
working at Childress last week and sustained injuries from which he died
Tuesday, August 11, 1908. The remains were interred at Fort Worth, where he and
his family resided, with Woodman honors. Deceased never regained consciousness
after the fall. His father, Rev. T. J. McBride, of the Bright Star community, B.
S. and L. C. McBride went to Fort Worth to attend the funeral. A wife and four
children survive. He was 35 years of age. (S.S. Gazette)
