Paul Gauntt and Bro. Lindsey Ray officiating. Burial followed in Sand Flat Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. Mr. Nations passed away April 4, 2007, in Grand Saline. He was born Aug. 28, 1919 in Grand Saline to the late Cortez and Lillian Rhodes Nations. He was a lifelong resident of Grand Saline, where he worked for Morton Salt and was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church. Mr. Nations served in the Army Merchant Marines during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Curtis Nations and Relman Nations and sisters, Loudella Peņa and Syble Nations. Survivors include Ernestine Nations of Grand Saline; son and daughter-in-law, Loyd and Cathy Nations of Grand Saline; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimm Pettitt, E.W. Bruner, Earlon Lee, Victor Conley, Jeremy Erwin and Jeff Smith.
