Burial followed in Union Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home. Ambrosio Palma died Jan. 21 in Tyler. He was born Sept. 15, 1919 in Comonfort, GTO, Mexico to Juan Jose Palma and Jacoba Valderas. he had lived in Van since November 2006, moving from Comonfort, Mexico. He was a rancher and a member of Iglesia Bautista Getsemani. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include wife, Esperanza Ramirez de Palma of Van; sons, Francisco Palma of Van, Juan Palma of Grand Saline, Pablo Palma of Van and Tobias Palma of Grand Saline; daughters, Tomasa Palma de Flores of Mexico, Maria Consuelo Barrerra of Van and Nicolasa Barcenas of Van; 42 grand children; and numerous great-grandchildren.
