Box and Don cannon officiating. Burial was in Woodside Cemetery in Grand Saline. Presswood died June 19 in a Tyler hospital after a brief illness. He was born Jan. 16, 1905, in Grand Saline, and retired from Morton Salt Co. with 25 years of service. he was a carpenter and a member of Church of Christ, where he served many years as and elder, song leader and Sunday School teacher. He was a member of Woodmen of the World. Presswood was married to Nina Ruth Copenhaver for 62 years. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Presswood, Grand Saline; two sons, Charles Acton Presswood and Jerry Presswood, both of Grand Saline; a daughter, Mrs. Dale Wilkins, Dallas; two brothers, Claud T. Presswood, Downey, Calif., and Newell Presswood, White Settlement; three sisters, Johnsie Clower, Grand Saline, Estelle Harrell, Powderly, and Adelle Presswood, Grand Saline; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Bubba Swain, Dusty Presswood, Jodi Presswood, John Gilchrist Jr., Jay Aldriedge, Mark Franklin and Steve Hansen. Honorary pallbearers were J.C. Gipson, Tommy Garrett, M.E. "Deddy" Jones, Floyd Wood, Bill Grier, Flord T.
