Tom Pesnell officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Webb died June 21 in a Dallas hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Hawkins and lived in Dallas, the Cedar Creek area and in Grand Saline seven years. He served in U.S. Nave during World War II and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Grand Saline. He was a former member of American Legion and International Brotherhood of Foresters. He was a painter and welder. Survivors include four sisters, Frankie Bell Lunsford, Grand Sailne, Lucille Wilson and Mary Evelyn Greer, both of Canton, and Iris Mae Noble, Kilgore.
