Last Rites Held for John White Funeral services for John White, age 78 years were held at Eubank Funeral Chapel Thursday afternoon, February 10, at 2:30 O’clock, with Rev. James S. Riley, pastor of the Baptist church, conducting. Mr. White died at Baker Clinic Wednesday, February 9. Interment was in the Bright Star Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Brothers. Pallbearers were Bill Caldwell, Arthur Langford, Henry Champion, Jack Crawford, Joe Huff and Edward Furrh. The deceased was born in Wills Point, on October 26, 1870. In 1890 he married to “Miss Polly Lee”, who preceded him in death on March 15 1932. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Jim Galloway, Wills Point and Mrs.Daisy Butler, Loan Oak, two sons, John R. White of Dallas and Arch White of Quinlan, one half brother of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
