Turn left on Nichols Road. This road turns into Murrell Road. This small cemetery is now located in a gated community called "Century Oaks". It has been fenced off from the new development. Access with code only. Cemetery is well kept. It is still being used today. Many of the tombstone photographs are located at: http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/waller/cemephotos.html Marked, located graves include: Hegar Cemetery Marker George Christian Friedrich Otto Hegar and Sophie Wilhelmine Hessig arrived from Hessen, Germany October, 1864 and married Nov. 18, 1847. They made their home 1.2 miles NW of this cemetery. Their daughter, Emma Julia, died Nov. 24, 1877. Aged 15 and is the first known grave in this cemetery.
