QUALLS CEMETERY, Waller Co., Texas Submitted by: Junior McKay Date: 8 May 2010 Copyright. All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** The original site for this cemetery is a one acre plot and lies about 200 yards from Hwy 1736. A newer section was opened sometime later and had many memorials, but a new owner of the land cleared the brush taking the memorials with the clearing. Local stories vary as to what happened to the memorials. One story is that the newer memorials were moved to a new cemetery and the old memorials were all placed in a large hole in the original area. I find no evidence of this. Another story states the memorials were never seen again after the clearing took place. All memorials for this cemetery were transcribed for this cemetery as of Apr. 2010. Photographs may be a partial list. Latitude: 30.15387, Longitude: -96.12228 Green, Lizzie b. 1887 d. Feb. 16, 1954 McLennan, Charlie b. unknown d. unknown Mosely, Frances b.
