This is an old African American family cemetery. The last person buried here was
Barry Shelton, buried in 1965. No tombstone markers exist. All information for
the names listed were taken from Texas Death Certificates.
  The parents of all the people listed are William Shelton and his wife Lizzie
(Holton) Shelton. They are probably also buried here.

All memorials have been photographed for this cemetery as of 3/2010.
