Rev. Virgil Pecht will officiate. Burial will be in the Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. Mr. Luetge died Wednesday. He was born in Industry and was a retired foreman of Doe Run Ranch. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wiedeville, where he served on the church council and the ushering committee. For many years he served as president of the Washington County Roping Club. He also served on the Rodeo Committee of the Washington County Fair Association and on the board of Old Washington School District. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lula Meyer Luetge. Survivors include his wife, Erma Green Prigge Luetge of Brenham; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Glynne Nell Luetge of Hempstead; three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Elroy Wellmann of Brenham, Dolly and Gerald Krause of Brenham and Karen and Mack Machacek of Austin; two sisters and brothers-in- law, Mamie and Jimmy Swonke of Cat Spring and Mercedes and Leon Vierus of Brenham; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wiedeville.
