County Star News 11/12/15
Born 6/10/1942 in Wheeler, Texas, to Walter Jackson and Florence Belle "Sally" 
Bass. Died in Elk City, OK. Grew up in Texola, OK and attended school there 
until it closed. She graduated from Erick High School in 1960. Retired from 
banking. Preceded in death by parents, infant daughter Melinda Kay Beck, and 
brother  Ronald Bass. Survived by son Marty (Missy) Beck of Elk City; one 
grandchild, two great grandchildren; two brothers PR (Jackie) Bass of Shamrock 
and Buck (Casey) Bass of Erick, OK. Services held 11/10/15 at Shamrock Church of 
Christ; burial in Texola Cemetery.
