Born 8/17/1929 in Beaumont, TX to John Curtis and Amanda McClurkin Jackson; died 
in Wichita, KS. Graduated from San Jacinto HS in Houston in 1947 and Rice 
University in 1952. Chemical Engineer. Married Martha Ann Montgomery on 7/3/1960 
in Shamrock, TX. Lived in Parkersburg, WV for 40 years; retired in 1991 and 
relocated to Wichita in 2013. Preceded in death by his wife, parents, step 
mother Elizabeth Simmons and brother John Jackson. Survived by son James (Ann) 
Jackson of Houston, daughter Jean Ann (Charlie) Elbright of Wichita, KS; 
grandchildren; sister Mary Louise McColpin-Popp; brother Joe Jackson; nieces and 
nephews. Service on 11/14/15 in Shamrock.
