Born 5/1/1925 in Shamrock, TX to Mr. and Mrs. Mannon Nix, Sr. Served in the 
Marines. Survived by his wife, Cleo; brothers James and Eugene of New Mexico; 
sisters Ethel of Texas and Katherine of New Mexico; son Joe of Delaware; son 
Charles of Pennsylvania and daughter Lyn of North Carolina. Also survived by two 
step daughters, Patti and Becky, a stepson, Don, and many grandchildren, great 
grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, brother 
Jessie; daughter Dorothy Ann, granddaughter Robin and grandson J.K. Services 
were1/16/2016 at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
